Raise the Titanic (1980)

I remember this movie when I was a kid. I just watched it again for the first time since 1980. They use inflatable bags to raise the ship. The Titanic is 12,500 ft deep. At that depth, they couldn't make bags big enough or strong enough to raise the boat even if it was structurally sound. At that depth, the PSI is 5,562. There are other major issues with the movie, but this one stood out as the most profound.
